Synopsis

As we listen to a hymn of hope and devotion, we enter the life of Panneerselvam, a tea plantation worker who has been plucking leaves at the Bombay Burmah Trading Company's tea estate in Valparai, Tamil Nadu. She has been working there for more than 28 years. The film tells the story of this endearing 54-year-old woman, her zest for life and her commitment to her work.

Besides being a PSA for Fairtrade, India, 'Panneerselvam' is an insight into the life of a woman whose incredible passion for running, is a testament to her determination to succeed.
